Better Hashtag Cannabis - Fremont Marijuana Dispensary
About Better Hashtag Cannabis - Fremont Marijuana Dispensary
On Nickerson Street near the Queen Anne and Fremont line, Better Hashtag Cannabis serves the north end of Seattle with a 4.5 rating across 656 reviews. Hours are reliable — 9am to 11pm every day, no exceptions — which makes it a steady option for evening runs. Reviews paint a transitional picture. Following an ownership change roughly a year back, some longtime customers say the inventory has thinned and certain favorite brands have disappeared from shelves. Others report excellent budtender service, with one chemo patient specifically praising how patient and professional the staff was during their visit. So it's a mixed bag. Pricing and selection draw the most criticism, while customer service still earns strong notes. The shop sits in a convenient pocket for Fremont, Queen Anne, and Wallingford residents, and the late close time helps for after-work stops. If you're loyal to specific brands, call ahead to confirm stock. If you mostly need a friendly walk-in experience, it's still worth a visit.
- Friendly, patient budtenders

Customer Reviews
This store has been terrible since the owner change ~8-6 months ago. They have gotten rid of much of their inventory and many shelves have been removed. Went in yesterday for a vape cartridge, they only had like 10 for sale. All the high quality flower oz they used to carry - gone for months now. I was gonna use up the discounts I have saved then switch to a different store, but it's not even worth stopping by at this point despite it being the closest store to where I live. Super sad, I used to be a frequent and loyal customer.
good customer service and nice bud tenders but their inventory is weak and unfortunately that’s the main thing we come for. They don’t have very many quality items a lot of the stuff I buy there gives a disappointing high. They got rid of honeytree too which was like the only good brand I got from here. So idk. Just not the best place to go if you want quality herbs for good value
*Edit: I went back to see if this place had improved and I honestly wish I had not bothered. The selection is somehow even worse than before. It feels like the store is playing a game to see how empty the shelves can get while still pretending it is a dispensary. There is nothing fun to look at and nothing new to try. It is the kind of selection that makes you wonder if the buyers just gave up completely. The budtenders also seem even more irritated now and spend most of the time complaining, which does not help the already depressing vibe. I really hoped things would be better on my return visit, but the whole experience has gone downhill so much that it is almost impressive in a tragic sort of way.* This place has gone downhill fast. The budtenders are constantly complaining to customers which makes the whole vibe really uncomfortable. The online menu is a mess confusing slow and often inaccurate and the in store selection is just as bad boring limited and way behind other shops. The sales feel lazy and uninspired with no real effort to create value for regulars. The website looks AI generated and does not match the local personal touch this shop used to have. Ever since the management changed it has been obvious the new team does not have a clue what they are doing. I miss the old management because at least they cared about the store and the customers. Really disappointing to see such a solid shop turn into this. Forgot to mention the new name is so uninspired. Whoever came up with it lacks depth and creativity.
Longtime customer. Now former customer after a bad experience with the "Better" hashtag. Better Hashtag is worse hashtag. Issues with the new website, continually low stock. Speaking with the new management to try to resolve a very simple issue that was the fault of the website/staff was turned around and made my issue for not calling (you can't trust the online prices - management told me that I should call and confirm the price every time). I was offered a 10% discount, but no apology for having to incur an ATM fee because of the discrepancy between their online and in-store prices, which has never happened before in the many years I shopped here. I was a customer for a decade, but there's enough other competition around!
This was the best shopping experience I’ve had in a long time. I received a 30% off coupon and went. I’m going thru chemo and explained that. I’d like the owner to know that is one of the best bud tenders and employees I’ve seen in some time. Professional knowledgeable and patient. The quality and variety is great. Prices are great. This should be your number one dispensary choice in Seattle
