Trulieve Tampa Hillsborough Dispensary

Title: Express is a lie & staff is openly hostile "I spend a lot of money at this Hillsborough Ave location, but I’m done being treated like an inconvenience. Their 'Express Pickup' is a total sham; I use it every single time and it is never honored. Today, I watched the staff call back someone who arrived well after me despite my Express order. When I questioned it, a tall, heavy-set employee with tattoos all over his face and neck was incredibly rude and unprofessional. He smugly told me I could 'go talk to the manager' if I had a problem. It’s clear the staff here feels untouchable because they don’t even try to hide their lack of respect for customers. I didn't bother with the manager because if this is how the front-line staff acts, the leadership clearly doesn't care either. Avoid this location if you actually want to use the Express service you're promised."

For a long time this was my favorite location until recently. I had picked up an order right before them closing only to get home and find one big nug, weighed out to be 1.5g instead of 3.5g. Took pictures and a video to have as proof. I needed to smoke, so I did. The next day, I call the call center and I tell them what happened, and they tell me take it back to any location and tell them what happened, they will help you. The rep on the phone was very apologetic and understood that I had spent time and money to get there and back. Mind you, I am sure they have a way to document these things and something like this has only ever happened to me once in the years I've been a patient so its not like im trying to come up on one. Additionally, the staff at this location know me and I thought based on how I always present myself, that they know im not the type of person trying to get a freebie. Anyhow, when I come back to this same location as my purchase was here and I feel comfortable with the staff at this location, the manager tells me that she cannot replace an empty jar because I already smoked it. I explained to her what the call center said and she said she could only give me a 15% discount for my next purchase. To not be difficult and because I dont remember the name of the person I spoke with on the phone, I said ok. Well, I finally went and got an eighth from them yesterday, and instead of 15% off I got 10% off which was already different than I originally was told and the second time I get mix-matched information from a rep. Unfortunately, I will no longer be purchasing from this location and potentially Trulieve period if this is their standard and norm. Trulieve was my fave dispensary, they always had deals and had something for anyone's budget, the staff is always friendly, the stores usually smell nice and are clean but now they've gotten pricey and your employees have mixmatched info. If they couldn't replace my jar like the lady on the phone said fine, but don't tell me yes make me drive back waste my time and gas when I originally already did that and didn't even get what I purchased but now I waste my time for a second time.

Honestly, this place was a letdown. The vibe was off from the moment I walked in. One of the staff members was unnecessarily rude, dismissive, and clearly had an attitude for no reason, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. To be fair, one of the guys working there was cool and professional, so credit where it’s due—but that wasn’t enough to save it. Customer service should be consistent, and here it just wasn’t. Plenty of dispensaries out there that treat customers better. I won’t be coming back.

Both times I have been to this dispensary, I was helped with enthusiasm. The employees went above and beyond to make my experience good. Crystal was super helpful whenever I had a question about the products. She knows her stuff and would go in full detail. I appreciated her assistance. I will definitely go back to this dispensary!
