Puff-N-Dash

My reward points have been erased since this shop has changed from march and ash to puff and dash . why ? "Same staff, same high standards — now with everyday low prices that include taxes." What? The prices are the same. Pretty much nothing has changed other than the name of the shop. If anything - the prices are worse. I don't see any deals on the website anymore. And even if there are deals - they aren't as good as they used to be or there are barely any selections. Just go to the other dispensaries around the area. People from Eastlake and Otay will pay whatever they want for these overpriced products, so the shop has no intention of lowering prices for customers who are trying to budget. Disappointing to see how this store has gotten worse over the years. Right below my review is an unfortunately disabled military veteran who was disrespected and assaulted by their power hungry security guards.

I was assaulted by the security guard at Puff & ash, located on Hst, near the corner of Broadway Chula Vista CA today, 2/25/2026 between the hours of 1pm - 1:17pm at the main entrance. Exactly two weeks ago I had the very same exact incident with a different security guard over the Disabled Person parking space. I'm a Disabled Veteran, four Tours, Afghanistan one, Iraq three. Though I'm supposed to use a wheeled walker, My pride fights Me every time I have to use it. I have the proper documentation from the State of California of to use Disabled Person parking spaces. 100% disabled. Two weeks ago, the security guard then walked up to My vehicle as I was coming out. He was literally barking at Me about needing a handicap placard which I had on My dashboard. My Mirror has a 16 point camera hookup which prevents Me from hanging the Handicap placard. I informed the guard the placard was on the dash to which He replied with such a disrespectful & rude, "welllll I caaaaant see it." "Move Your car!" In a very demanding manner. I refused to move the vehicle as I pointed to the dashboard, all He had to do was look, but He refused. I asked for His name to which He replied, " You don't need that information", I asked for His superior to which He replied "he's not here" I proceed to enter & asked to speak with the manager & spoke to Her about the incident that had just happened. She informed Me that the situation would be "taken care of" & would never be repeated. Today (2/25/2026/1pm) I parked & walked to the entrance of puff & ash with two other people walking behind Me. The security guard stood up & physically blocks My path to the entrance telling Me I need a handicap placard I told Him it was in the dash, to which He responds in a very arrogant manner, "well I can't see it" as He physically blocks My path & let's the two people who were in line behind Me inside. Once they were in He was standing in a SuperMan pose with His Chest out blocking My Path. I wasn't going to respond to this individual. I live two blocks away & have never had an issue with any of the staff. I told the security guard in calm manner because I honestly wasn't upset, "My Friend, I wouldn't lie about being disabled" which seemed to have triggered the individual to the point where he began berrating Me in a very aggressive manner that I " wasn't His friend " & to "never in My life ever call him friend again. To diffuse the situation, I asked Him if He wanted to see The handicap placard on the dash. He did. I pointed to it, to which He replied "that's not Yours " at this point I was honestly, in disbelief. I on instinct I pulled out the Corresponding paperwork which He grabs out of My hand. After inspecting every word the document , he gives it back & tells Me in a very aggressive manner "this isn't good enough, move Your car!" At this point I was done dealing with with the individual & proceed to the entrance as I said "I want to talk to the manager" the security guard rushes past Me again & seemed to think twice about doing the same blocking stance. He did not, but as I passed by Him, He pushes Me with His right shoulder despite the fact that We were both at arms length distance. I asked Him to identify Himself & His superior in His chain of command. To which He ignored Me , sat on His stool & began playing with His phone. Ignoring My request to identify Himself, His Company (since He wasn't properly wearing a uniform, He had a sweatshirt & tactical pants. No identifying agency or insignia. When I went inside puff & ash to Immediately reported the incident & asked to speak to the highest ranking staff there. I was told there was a meeting. I left My contact information & as of 8:21pm, no one from Puff & Ash has reached out to Me. I suffer from PTSD & Anxiety Disorder, though this individual did not rigger Me, My fight or flight, My Spidey sense, All My Combat Experience, His attitude, His demeanor, his tone , his posture was telling Me this individual was ready & willing to strike. Such individual should not work Armed & around the public

Inaccurate times. If you guys say you stay open till 9, stay open till 9. It’s unfair to all the customers trying to get something real quick, says yall are open, but aren’t. Prices are good but the staff and everything make you debate whether it’s worth it. Even if the reason is inventory, it doesn’t make any sense to close early when no other store closes early for inventory or stocking.

Unbeknownst to me, I came in last week JUST as they were closing but Amber and Monica were not bothered, they had an awesome attitude and energy. Definitely makes me want to come back. Thank you ladies!

We came in and Julian B was incredibly helpful and very sweet to us! He made sure we had everything we needed and was very knowledgeable on the products we asked about. Thank you, we will def be back!
