About Everest Cannabis Co. - Montano Plaza
Set in Taylor Ranch on Coors Blvd NW, this Everest location runs 9 AM to 10 PM weekdays and Saturday, and 9 AM to 9 PM Sunday. The 4.6 average across 270 reviews reflects a mix of loyal regulars who love the staff and frustrated customers who've had issues with delivery service and a debit card terminal that's been flagged as unreliable in multiple reviews. Staff at the storefront get solid marks for product knowledge and warm service, with the manager named for thoughtful recommendations. The store carries flower, vapes, edibles, and concentrates from New Mexico producers. Bring cash if the debit terminal is down, which avoids a wasted trip. Customer Reviews
Ordered delivery about a half hour after the delivery hours listed on their website started yesterday. Received an e-mail almost immediately saying my items were being prepared by the store. Never heard from them again. They also clearly purposefully do not fix their debit card machines - if you look at other reviews it has been going on for literally so long its blatant they just want you to use the atm for cash. These two issues combined - they clearly do not want my business so they won't get it again.
Since moving to the area this has quickly become my favorite dispensary! Everyone is so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. The manager always makes the best recommendations when he assists us. The store is always kept in a clean and refreshing condition which is rare to find with how saturated ABQ is with dispensaries.
Story time. I have been a long time customer of the unser and mcmann location. For about 6 years now. They were more than my bud tinder they were like family to me. Everest decided the day before christmas to fire everyone and close up shop. No warning. All because they forgot to renew their lease. They also wouldn't allow their employees to warn us said customers. So I had no idea. I decided to.try the next location that would be closest. And the guy that helped me was friendly. But not personable. The manager. Cold, non existent, inexperienced with people would be my best description. Yes I got what I needed. But my experience was like grabbing a twinkie out of the box that you just bought to find out they are old stale and expired. But youre already home so you cant exchange it. You feel empty. Robbed. And twinkie less. We'll that's how I felt going to this everest. I felt empty and twinkie less. Needless to say I wont be back. And will find a whole different company to spend my money at. I would like toi edit this to add today I was contacted by the store manager. The store owner. I'm not sure his name was Thomas. And he asked me if there was anything that he could do to make my experience better. Essentially, and I told him no. I told him the situation I told him that I knew that Everest fired all those employees from the uncer McMann, location and that they're lying when they say that they were all given positions at different stores. That's not true. And I told him that he should be careful because he could be the next to be fired. He proceeded to get ready to hang up on me. His words were, and I quote, you know what, I'm not going to sit here. And listen to this. And before he could hang up on me, I respectfully hung up on him. Everest has lost a longtime customer. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with them. I will no longer support that company. I do not agree with how they treat their employees.I will find a company that I do agree with. And I will give them my thousands of dollars instead. As for Thomas, he should be fired. I would never have someone that represented my store.Talk to a customer like.He talked to me today.
I work near this location so I stop here frequently. Every time I go in I feel like everyone is happy to see me. I get a friendly “hello” and “how are you” from each worker. It really makes my day. As far as product, everything I have tried is amazing.
Give Autumn a raise. It was so nice to talk to a tender who actually knows about *all* the products in their store. I wish I had $ to get some of the better recommendations, but was happy with what I walked out with in the end.
