My 1st visit was a bit chilly. I felt my ethnicity was an issue. I stood facing the glass partition a little too long without a gesture of notice l felt. Awkwardly, l continued to stand there knowing the doorbell also announced my arrival. Though staff were engaged, no one was able to multi-task a raised finger to say, l acknowledge you, pls wait. Instead l was ignored until l thought maybe l was to come through the 2nd door--I'm new, didn't know. That's when l was acknowledged but the greeting for my error felt more like:a scolding, 'stay back, I'm in the middle of a word!' was the response to my "didn't know if you saw me?" and "sorry"'. There was no smile only an annoyed curt response. Often it's how words are expressed. To me it felt like "leave". So, l turned around and politely left.
This is my favorite dispensary in ABQ. I’ve been going for a while now and each time I’m met with friendly and knowledgeable budtenders. They have great brands, high potency, new launches and great deals and rewards. Danielle is one of the nicest and most knowledgeable flower specialists I’ve met in the dispos around NM. I always leave feeling satisfied and like I have a friend in the biz! There are great dispos here in ABQ but Everest on Juan Tabo is my personal favorite!!

Stopped in here real quick for some medications and treats during a weekend in ABQ. Lets face it, if you think there's an over-saturation of sub-par dispensaries in a medicinal state, such as my beloved Florida, you'll be floored by the number of dispensaries in a recreational state...many of them little more than sparsely decorated retail spaces, or repurposed gas stations, with bland signage and forgettable names. Everest Cannabis Co. however, is not playing the "basic dispensary" game. Not much to say other than we walked in smiling, had a wonderful chat and even a couple laughs during our selection process, and were well medicated for the entire weekend...and what a deal! Shoutout to Violet, and her male co-worker. We really needed a boost that day 😃🙌🏽🌲⬆️💚
