GrowHealthy Dispensary - Tamarac

Great experience at this dispensary on my first visit. Kate was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole visit quick and easy. However, I wanted to update my review after returning the next day (3.7.2026). I purchased two different flower strains. One that I tried yesterday was phenomenal, but the second one I tried this morning was unfortunately unsmokable. I’ve been smoking for about 20 years, and there’s a difference between coughing because something is potent and coughing because something just isn’t right with the flower. I went back to the dispensary hoping to exchange it for the strain that I did enjoy. When I arrived, I was greeted politely and explained the situation. The cashier, unfortunately I didn’t catch her name, but I do want to thank her for her kindness during the interaction, was friendly and we were even chatting about other strains I might want to try in the future while waiting for the manager’s approval. Based on how the conversation was going, I was under the impression that exchanging it likely wouldn’t be an issue, so I was a bit thrown off by how things ultimately played out. When the manager came out, the interaction was disappointing. She didn’t acknowledge me or say good morning and simply asked the cashier what the issue was. When told I wanted to exchange the product, she immediately said "they don’t do that", repeated it twice said nothing else. It also seemed like she was somewhat annoyed at being called to the front, which added to the uncomfortable feeling of the interaction. I now understand that their website states there is no refund or exchange policy, and I’m not upset about the policy itself. What bothered me more was the approach. It felt dismissive and a bit rude, as if there wasn’t even a moment taken to hear me out. I didn’t argue, I just thanked them for their time and left. To add to the frustration, this dispensary is about a 20–25 minute drive from where I live, so making the trip back only added to the sourness of the situation. The cashier even offered me a discount if I wanted to purchase the strain that I did like (manager was visibly annoyed by this gesture) which I appreciated, but at that point the interaction with the manager had already left a bad impression. This is the first issue I’ve ever had trying to exchange something at any dispensary. I was simply hoping to swap it for the strain I enjoyed. Because of how the situation was handled, I’ll likely just stick with my preferred dispensary moving forward. 5 stars to the rest of the staff, 1 star for the Manager working today, didn't bother to catch her name just wanted the interaction to be over.

First time to any Grow Healthy for me and definitely won’t be my last. Place was clean and well kept and the customer service was AMAZING. I had the pleasure of meeting Dylan. What a fantastic guy. Could see he wasn’t feeling well but never complained and had a smile the entire time. That’s why I will be back, such great customer service! After I finished, I had the pleasure of meeting Kate as well. I would HIGHly recommend this location and if you want great service see Dylan and Kate.

I had a great experience at this dispensary and wanted to give a shoutout to the team. Dylan, the manager, runs a really solid operation. You can tell he cares about the store, the product quality, and making sure customers are taken care of properly. Angie was the one who helped us, and she was awesome. She was friendly, patient, and really knew her stuff. She took the time to answer our questions, gave great recommendations, and made the whole experience comfortable and easy. She didn’t rush us at all and made sure we left happy with our choices. The store itself was clean, well-organized, and had a great selection. Overall, the customer service is what stood out the most. Big thanks to Dylan and Angie for making it a great visit. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for quality products and great service.

Absolutely loved my experience at GrowHealthy in Tamarac! Natalie provided such friendly, welcoming customer service and made the whole visit feel easy and enjoyable. The dispensary itself is so pretty inside—I’m obsessed with the aesthetic and décor. Everything feels modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. GrowHealthy really gives off a chill, laid-back vibe with a professional but relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly, approachable, and makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Overall, such a great experience—I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this location!
