They seem nice and welcoming until you pay with a debit card. I was charged nearly $9.00 more than the price with tax and they use a “cashless ATM” system to tack on extra charges and do who know what with my information. What really got me was that he said “this is the only way we can run a card”. I guess he thought I was naive and haven’t ever used my debit card at literally any other business so I would never know he was lying to me. Anytime you hear the words “cashless ATM” in a business, run. There’s clearly a reason they aren’t able to process credit and debit transactions as a normal merchant so this is a huge red flag. This practice wasn’t mentioned on their website either. I’ve worked with Shift4 most of my career, yall. Debit cards DO NOT have to be ran as ATM transactions. My order total was $31.xx. They tried to run by card for $41. It declined because my bank recognized that wasn’t a real ATM. Cashless ATM = Run
