Shangri-La Cannabis Adult Use Retailer
About Shangri-La Cannabis Adult Use Retailer
This second Shangri-La storefront sits on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk and runs a 4.4 rating across 103 reviews. Like the Main Avenue location, happy hour pricing is core to value here, with reviewers noting standard prices land higher than competing shops in the area. The deal-of-the-day discount has shifted from 40 percent to 20 percent in recent months, which long-time customers have flagged as a step down. Multiple customers describe difficulty resolving issues with defective products, particularly vape carts that arrived leaking resin, suggesting the return window enforcement is strict and few exceptions get made. Friendly staff and a clean retail floor stay in the positive column, but service consistency at the counter draws mixed reviews, with at least one reviewer describing front-counter staff as unwelcoming on a separate visit. Hours run 9 AM to 8 PM Monday through Saturday, and 10 AM to 5 PM on Sunday. Confirm product type carefully at purchase, since pens and cartridges have been mixed up in reported transactions. Time your stop around the happy hour window for the best pricing here.

Honestly this is the second time I went to this place and the second time I’m not happy. The first time I bought some 1g long prerolls and they are always so short and packed so tight that it’s impossible to smoke. It’s a waste. Today I went my second time and bought some more prerolls thinking it was a mistake the first time I went. Once again the same shit. The 1g prerolls is the size of my pinky finger and forget about smoking them. Impossible! I went home and opened the second one I bought and again the same. Super tiny preroll. I opened up the paper and the weed inside looks like garbage, nothing even close to good quality. It smells even worst. I’m not sure why or how, but that’s not cool. I’m very disappointed with this store and the quality. For sure this was the last time I went there and I will never recommend it.
There are better options for dispensaries in the area. Non existent customer service. Unwelcoming and unhelpful people working the counter. I bought a defective cart that leaked resin everywhere and they refused to offer a replacement because a return window passed. I’m not trying to return a product, I’m trying to get a defective one replaced! Now my battery is ruined and more than half the cart is on my desk. Will go to curaleaf or fine fettle instead next time.
To be honest, this place is great! Very friendly staff, amazing products, but honestly, if you’re not going during their happy hour, then it’s not worth it. The prices there are higher than all their competitors unless you’re going there during their happy hour. Their deal of the day used to be great! But they changed it from 40 percent to 20 percent, which is a bummer. If you’re looking for good joints/carts that are worth the prices, then I’d recommend going to Higher Collective in Black Rock.
I went into the location today to purchase a vape. I asked for a vape pen, but I was sold a cartridge for $60. When I got home, I called and said, “Hey, you guys sold me a cartridge when I wanted a pen.” I was told that I could come back to the store and return the cartridge because they had given me the wrong product. When I went back to the store, I was told by a manager named Kyrie that they weren’t going to return it, even though I bought it 30 minutes earlier, because “there’s nothing wrong with it.” He also said that I should have said I wanted a disposable. I told him I asked for a pen, so how did that turn into a cartridge? He said it was my responsibility to specify that I wanted a disposable. I’m giving you guys three days to refund my money, including the gas I spent driving back, or you can type my name into the Stamford Superior Court database and see how many companies I sue for situations like this. A $60 issue can easily turn into a $10k+ problem.
Great spot and Khiry V was a thorough Cannabis consumer consultant and the dispensary is like a cozy “Headshop”,… ‘Utopia’ may have retired but ShangriLa has picked up, where they left off & U can buy cannabis too 🥳
