Mr. Nice Guy

I went to your store in Costa Mesaon Harbor. I was very pleased to find Iliana behind the counter. She was my budtender at the last place I frequented. She is so knowledgeable and positive. This place has a variety quality products. Sure, you can go anywhere to get your stash. But , try Mr Niceguy and Iliana. I highly recommend!

I visited Mr. Nice Guy on February 21 at around 2:45 PM. I told the budtender I was looking for either a hybrid or indica flower. He showed me some prepackaged eighths priced at $15. As I looked at the bags, the quality was clearly poor and the flower appeared very dry. I asked what else was available, and he then showed me what looked like the same product, just priced at $25. I then asked if he had anything that was better quality and not dry. He responded by saying he did, but that it was a little pricier. The way he said this and the look he gave me made me feel like he assumed I could not afford better options. It honestly felt like I was being judged or discriminated against. I made it clear that money was not the issue and that I was asking specifically for good quality flower. After that, he showed me a product that was on sale. When I checked the packaging date, it was from late November 2025. I asked if he had anything packaged more recently, and he said no. At that point, I did not argue because it already felt like I was not welcome there. I ended up spending $75, which is not a large amount, yet the entire interaction made me feel as though he assumed I could not afford to spend more. He treated me as if $15 flower was all I was capable of buying, despite the fact that I was clearly asking for better quality. I have never experienced this before. Typically, budtenders ask what a customer is willing to spend before making recommendations, but in this situation, assumptions were made instead of asking. Patient #1446587 Order #6179535

Won’t take returns for faulty equipment. Won’t exchange it either. A majority of there products are fake. More than a majority of their products do not work. Tried calling and explaining and the employees are extremely condescending. And rude. Go to a local campus I know 60+ people who do not shop here for these reasons. I should have listened. Costed me 50$ for a broken disposable and I tipped them too. Be as stupid as me or don’t. Your call.

This is my usual cannabis place but today I had a very poor experience. Im a once a week guy but i might not go back after today. I noticed some of the top shelf eighth's package dates are on the older side in past visits. Today i asked for something on the fresher side (Sep or Oct.) and the budtender was visibly and audibly annoyed when i asked this. She said "im just going to let you browse" and was very dismissive. I also asked to see a couple eighths that were on the shelf but they did not have in stock too. She didnt remove them from the display either. I ended picking 3 eighths that cost $129. The price didnt bug me but she never thanked me at all during the transaction. Anyways im bummed out... If i owned the business i wouldnt keep employees around with such poor customer service skills.

We love coming to Mr. Nice Guy Costa Mesa! Mya is fantastic. always friendly, kind, and welcoming. She always takes the time to help us thoroughly and makes great recommendations. The whole vibe is welcoming and chill, and their selection is awesome. Hands down our fav spot.
