Stopped in for the first time, was wonderfully greeted by Aelin, who was very nice, intelligent and gave great customer service and recommendations helping me find the products I needed! Overall great experience!🙂

I rarely leave negative reviews — maybe fewer than ten in my lifetime — but what pushes me to do so is consistent disrespect and a lack of product knowledge. I’ve visited Bud Commander 4–5 times since they opened. Out of those visits, only one was a decent experience. The rest? Not so much. And to be clear, I never chose this place on my own — I only stopped in when others wanted to. Each time I’ve walked through the door, I’ve been met with a condescending attitude. The staff regularly assumes I don’t know what I’m talking about, and when I try to share product knowledge (which I clearly have more of), they act offended or dismissive. To top it off, their selection is limited and underwhelming. Too many red flags. I gave them one final chance yesterday because I was in the area and wanted edibles. That was a mistake. The woman working was extremely rude — nasty tone, dismissive attitude, and acted like she couldn’t care less. I asked specifically for a 1:1:1:1 ratio edible, and she immediately argued with me, saying that doesn’t exist and insisted it wouldn’t even be legal. Rather than argue back, I simply walked out. No sense in wasting energy when someone is clearly not informed. Here’s the thing: she could’ve just said, “We don’t carry that here” or even “I’ve never heard of that — tell me more.” That simple shift in tone and curiosity would’ve made the entire experience better. But instead, I was met with ignorance and attitude. Bud Commander, it would benefit your business greatly if your staff was trained in both basic customer service and actual product knowledge — even if you don’t carry something, at least know what you’re talking about or be open to learning. I’d only recommend this place to someone looking for a basic pre-roll or a quick grab-and-go. If you know what you like, have specific preferences, or care about quality and education, skip this spot. It’s more of a rookie-level shop — not for seasoned cannabis users. Places like this kill the vibe for everyone. Not cool. (And yes — I ended up going to my usual dispensary and picked up exactly what I asked for. A 1:1:1:1 edible. They do exist. Imagine that.)

Went into get some assistance with sleep. I suffer from insomnia bad. Can no longer take the px sleep medicine as it gave me severe headaches. The staff was great at assistance with what to get and also recommended a great tasting CBD chocolate!! The guy at the door also held the door for me when I left! So yes...great customer service!
