Pretty unhelpful vibes. I’ve been shopping around different restore locations for a long time and I asked for clarification about the first time policy since I shopped at Columbia years ago. They don’t extend a first time discount if you’ve visited a location before even if it was a different brand which is fine except the fact that the retail worker said “it’s only a 30% discount which isn’t much” and I was offended because 30% isnt much…? It’s a lot of help for the average person. I wanna emphasize that it was far less about what was said and about how they said it that made this an unpleasant experience. The shop needs to work diligently to ensure that they don’t undermine the medicinal nature of the industry, and the fact that patients rely on this medicine completely out of pocket for very serious conditions and it’s not like I’m unhappy because the pants that I want aren’t on sale. The other staff was also pretty rude and why did it take so long when there was literally only one person there? The cherry on top was a security guard, clocking my unhappy vibe, and asking “what’s your problem” which was the most unhelpful thing of all time. My problem is that I’m trying to leave and I wish I could go back and return it all and never do business with that location ever again. I believe that restore has a lot of work to do to ensure people who have visited other restore locations as they visit new locations to ensure consistency in policy and experience, and everyone at the Allentown location needs a training on how to be trauma informed.

I give it a 3 only because when you call you'll never get a live operator you always have to leave a message so someone calls back. It's frustrating when you want to ask a question that demands (most likely a simple answer) turns into a phone tag session, if I miss the call.smh I have to be available for the call back but your ready for the initial call .other then that great people...

Update update: Some-20 visits since; shout out Restore! I always look forward to coming into this location ... all of the store staff are helpful, kind & considerate & I leave each time excited and informed regarding my purchases and looking forward to coming back. The items I order are consistently held cold; I'm in & out more quickly each visit and overall I simply love this store thank you everybody! Had a memorable first experience at Columbia Care two weeks ago in chatting with Dave outside in the rain - am on my way back for 2nd visit; will report back but am expecting similarly excellent results as first time! Update - 2nd Visit: I'm warming up to this location! Efficient; friendly & informative service and I found the items I was looking for at excellent pricing. In spite of my initial apprehension regarding a closed reception/waiting area ... the person who checked me in was kind & helpful and immediately made me feel welcome coming into the store. Will return; overall impression 9.1 meritorious consideration for prompt & efficient service I was in and out in under 8 minutes with a smile 🙂
