The Herbal Connection

Dee is wonderful. She was kind and patient. It was my first time in and she didn’t rush me at all. Definitely a return customer and I’m SO HAPPY to have found cheap OZ’s (that don’t have seeds and aren’t awful) YAY!!!

I’m going to leave a more measured bad review than the one I left in the heat of the moment (and leave that one to the reader’s imagination). All I will say is that it doesn’t matter how busy you are or if you’re having a bad day, if a customer calls wanting to know where their delivery order is when it’s been over two hours since they placed it, it’s not okay to yell defensively “you have to give us two hours!,” ask with passive-aggressive sweetness “would you prefer to pick it up, then?” And then bark “I don’t like how this conversation is going!” (all in quick succession!) to a customer just because they asked what happened to their order. (I didn’t even know if the order had gone through or not, since it had been so long since I placed it—and the young woman on the phone did not offer to check, just launched into yelling at me). I don’t like being yelled at by customer service at places I’m spending my money, particularly when they are in the wrong (even if it’s because people have called in to work that day or they’re particularly slammed), and particularly not by people who sound as though they’re the age of my students and also like they may need a safe space with plenty of plushies and a comfort blanket in which to recover from a customer asking where their order is with the merest hint of dissatisfaction. To the manager at The Herbal Connection: train your employees better. They should be able to keep their cool and be calm and polite to customers regardless of the circumstance, and apologetic if customers’ orders are late. She should have offered to check on my order, so I’d at least know it went through, and she could’ve told me I was first in the queue when it went out, and apologized for the delay; that would’ve been fine. I was NOT a surly customer, but even if I had been, she could have reacted in exactly the above described manner in order to placate me as the customer who’s been made to wait for hours. Instead, she MADE a surly customer out of me with her instantly defensive tone and passive-aggressive approach. If that WAS the manager who answered, all I can say is yikes! Time to hire a new one (maybe someone with some experience next time. Just a suggestion). I’ll likely be going with the People’s Wellness for future delivery orders (and in general), as soon as they hire a new driver.

This is been my go to dispensary since I moved to Eugene three years ago. I have no reason to go to any other stores. The selection, prices, and customer service have won me over as a loyal patron. Top notch! Budtenders like Faith, Sara, Steve, and plenty of other awesome people.. I love this place!!

Been going here for about 13 years now and it just gets better and better. Barb, one of the budtenders, is the best I’ve ever had in my life. She is so sincere and knowledgeable and knows exactly what flower I like and what type of high I expect, she always gives me a little bit of info on the grower and is not afraid to speak up if I made the wrong pick? I usually just let her pick for me out of there many many different strains. Always the best bud, super clean, fresh, never been disappointed with the herbal connection. Barb is the best and we love her for her hard work and dedication. Always remembers me. Everyone there is great, but in my opinion, Barb rocks the house!!

This place is awesome! They have more selections than any other dispensary I have been to on the West Coast. Their prices are fair, they have daily specials every day of the week and they have incredible deals. They have so many different varieties that I call this place weed world haha. When you step inside you are greeted by a super chill staff and a wall of some of the best cannabis you'll find from any dispensary. HIGHLY recommended. Pun totally intended hahaha 😎
