Hello my name is Molly. I would like to thank Taisha for her outstanding customer service. She was attentive to the kind of strain I needed. She was polite, funny, caring to my needs. Every time I go she knows what I need to calm down my mood. What a great employer you have.

Unfortunately i will not be going back here. I live around the corner so i would visit here frequently until recently. I was here on i believe a Thursday morning about 20 min after they opened and a dark skinned taller guy with dreads was there. First time ever seeing him since their opening but they seem to have such a high turnover that i didnt really notice if he was new or not. He apparently ask me if im picking up an order. I say yes and head to the kiosk thinking he asked me if i knew what i was looking for (thats what they usually ask). I had clearly misheard him and instead of being professional and asking for clarity he yells across the room “NOW HOW YOU GON GO TO THE KIOSK WHEN I ASKED IF YOU HAD AN ORDER”. Mind you, he doesnt know me and im a customer who wasnt even been greeted by him. Rachel did greet me from the register and shes very hospitable. As im leaving he then stops me at the entrance way and says i have to go back to exit on the other side. This wouldve been understandable if there was a heavy flow of traffic but i was the only one in the store and he literally ask me as im at the door. I looked at him and just kept walking. He then went to tell the security guard that im banned which is actually comical. It was clear he simply felt undermined cuz hes a small man that feels his lil job warrants some power. I showed him it doesnt and his ego was hurt apparently. As someone who has grown medical cannabis for 5 years and worked at a couple dispensaries in NYC i can tell you its NEVER that serious. You work at a weed shop not a bank, not the pentagon. Hiring ppl like this tells me management lacks discernment which doesnt surprise me considering this place is owned by the same ppl who opened Indoor Treez. But that’s a story for another time and i will be making a review on social media as well.

Prices are not good. No real specials. The 5 pack Jeeter pre rolls were over $50. I got them for $40 at a different location. I was happy with the Trump runtz. Lilac diesel was trash. That's why they were selling it at a discounted price of $40. And it was very dry. We were told to request "neighborhood" discount, although we showed Staten Island ID and had to fight for 10% off. NYC dispensaries need to get their stuff together because people like me are shopping in NJ. Competition is growing fast. Compete now to draw in loyal, money spending customers like myself, or be out of business in a year or two.

Strains for Life is hands down the best! They have a great selection, excellent customer service, and the shop is always clean and safe. Prices are very fair, and you can tell they really care about their customers. Honestly, this is the only place I’ll shop at. Highly recommend!
