About Lamb's Bread Dispensary

At 2128 2nd Ave in East Harlem, Lamb's Bread Dispensary holds a 4.8-star average across 143 reviews and a fan base that calls it the best in New York without irony. Owner Ray gets credit for designing the space himself and turning each visit into an experience. Customers can smell and touch flower samples, which is unusual in a city where most dispensaries treat product like museum pieces behind glass. Longtime regulars walk blocks to get here because the staff genuinely listen before recommending anything. Prices stay reasonable. The smoothies and snacks have their own following. Hours run 11 AM to 9 PM most days, with a later 1 PM start on Mondays and a noon open on Sundays. Forget the McDonald's-style fast dispensaries elsewhere, as one reviewer put it. This Manhattan shop feels human. If you want a cannabis store that remembers your face and your last purchase, Lamb's Bread is exactly that.

Customers mention:
  • Touch and smell flower samples
  • Owner-designed unique space
  • Smoothies and snacks available
  • Regulars walk blocks to visit

Love this place and their vibes! Everyone is super friendly even the customers that are here at the time. The smoothies are refreshing in the summer and the snacks are good and tummy warming in the winter :3

as a first time customer my initial interaction was disappointing enough to leave a one star review. i called to ask a simple question about their inventory specifically oils and disposables. the employee’s first response was “have you been here before”. when i said no and asked why that mattered i was abruptly told they were out of stock and the call was ended. customer service is often the first impression and in this case it was absolutely abysmal. there was no courtesy, no follow up, and no effort to be helpful. being dismissive toward potential customers especially new ones is not a good look. one star based solely on the interaction. edit - the owner appears to be backtracking but this interaction took place over the phone and i can assure you i do not have the wrong store.

Have been visiting this place for years. Even walking blocks and blocks and blocks to get there because the people there care and offer excellent quality product at very reasonable prices. Always met with a smiling welcome and they'll happily listen to what you're trying to achieve before making spot-on recommendations. When the gentleman behind the counter offers an open jar of flower for you to smell, do it! Superb quality bud and a great selection at prices you want to pay. As always, it's the people who make the place and you can sit inside at the bar/counter and hang out with them for a while too.

I will say this Little jamming cafe could be a great HIT THIS SUMMER with a cool menu that doesn't overwhelm you it's short and and straight to the point... He even has pre rolls and flowers. Without a doubt the best dispensary in New York. RAY serves you with great quality and kindness. He tries to make visiting his store, which he designed himself, a total experience. I was surprised that you could touch and smell the flowers, as he had samples of all the varieties available. Forget about the “McDonalds” fastshops and go to the 5-star New York dispensary.
