PurLife Dispensary Rio Rancho
About PurLife Dispensary Rio Rancho
The flagship-feeling PurLife location, with 1,482 Google reviews and a 4.7 rating, set on Golf Course Rd SE in Rio Rancho. Volume that high tells you it's a stable, high-traffic stop for both locals and travelers. Hours run 8am to 9pm every day, with no reduced Sunday schedule. Most feedback lines up with what reviewers see across other PurLife locations: friendly budtenders, regular deals, and a steady stream of returning customers. Staff names like Emily come up positively. Worth noting that a small number of reviews flag inconsistent customer service experiences around store flow and ID checks, which is sometimes a side effect of high-volume retail. The bulk of feedback stays positive on product and pricing. Sits in a well-trafficked retail corridor in Rio Rancho, easy to combine with other errands. Reliable pick if you already know the PurLife product mix and want a busier location with full hours.

My experience at the store was great! Emily was great! Having a little trouble with the survey I was sent because it made no reference to the store that I visited. I thought it was spam and I almost threw it away and realized that Emily had indeed been worth the good rating. As for the administration of the store sending a blind survey? Not so much.
Be careful going here. They employ people who are unstable. PERSONAL EXAMPLE: After I received my order, I was followed out to my car by the guy taking ID’s at the door. He has long, greasy, curly black hair, about 5’9, average build. I asked him why he was following me and he began to yell profanities and threatened to punch me in the face. I’m a female so that was weird, but I’m a veteran so I stood my ground. The customers inside ran out to my aid and grabbed him and brought him back inside. I called the establishment to talk to them about the incident, left a message, and they never responded, which is shameful. I filed a report with RRPD and they took my statement. There are great dispensaries in Rio Rancho that employ people who don’t create a hostile environment. There are so many other dispensaries that have respect for veterans. I personally suggest Amigos.
Just got asked to leave this place. The front man or receptionist did not direct me or tell when to enter the area where you buy the product. I immediately got yelled at by the girl behind the counter to “Get to the back. Leave now.” I said what are you talking about? The front man or receptionist never approached this situation or accepted the harm they caused, or to accept the blame and he allowed me to be blamed. I went to be seated quietly and waited my turn. I walked into the narrow entrance into the area where you buy the product. My cane bumped the black file cabinet thing and the front man or receptionist then started yelling at me that was violent and hit the black file cabinet on purpose. My cane is PLASTIC and I asked “How do you know I did anything on purpose?” He stated “I felt that you did.” I asked to see the manager and then they asked me to leave. Very unprofessional. I am not used to a cane, my legs are swollen due to a kidney procedure last week. My legs do not work right. I have ADHD, brain trauma, and Autism Level 2. I have issues with moving in space due to the complex ADHD (Proprioceptive Dysfunction). Directing the clients is what that front man was supposed to do. I have gone to this place maybe 3 times, in the span of 3 years and as long as I have had a medical card, so needed to be directed. Of course I went to the dispensary down the street called Ultra Health Dispensary located next to Supercuts off of Southern toward 528. I have gone to Ultra about 6 times per year for 3 years. Never in my life. Then a regular started yelling at me. Worse than the post office down the street. I will show corporate Purelife my diagnosis, I will receive an apology. I could call them idiots, but I am not that way at n life because I know people do the best they can. And, oh yeh the guy in the red jeep cut me off as I turned into the parking lot to buy much needed cancer strength resin because I have to not as recreation. Tomorrow I post a pic of my kidney procedure. They were not doing their job. We will all be fine, but come on.
After my time in the service this has been my one and only dispensary. I have always adored the customer service and overall atmosphere. The prices keep rising, compares to others... but the establishment is worth the price gouch. Unfortunately , I cannot give it five stars, as of recent the newer staff (Megan, for example) has been very passive aggresive. I have sever ptsd and don't need another incident where immaturity is the major causing factor. I hope to update this with the 5 stars it rightfully deserves, once they figure how to hire people like their previous employees. An enjoyable time till tonight. (Updating from 2 -4, except for the previous employee, the others have been exceptionally kind and considerate.)
So on the day before Christmas I’m at the dispensary trying to get my meds. After I waited for a good time in line because it’s the day before Christmas, everyone trying to get there’s. While I was talking to my clerk the other clerk from the side kept just saying things which I couldn’t even hear. He did it so much I got made and asked the guy to shut up I’m not talking to you out even looking at you. I couldn’t even ask the lady anything without this guy saying something, anyone would have got upset. I got so upset. I threw the hand sanitizer at him stupid of me of course they could ban me call the cops whatever it was that guy‘s fault he got me upset wasn’t even talking to him. Wasn’t even supposed to be doing business with him, but he kept just saying stuff on the side. I would not recommend this shop to nobody in New Mexico because of this clerk if he’s like that then I’m sure a lot of them are like that and I’m pretty sure No discipline will come to him at all. He just continue to be a horrible service person customers that buy medicine which helps to pay him. Been coming to this place forever not no more tho.
