Medizin - Cannabis Dispensary Las Vegas
About Medizin - Cannabis Dispensary Las Vegas
Sitting just off Sunset Road in the southwest valley, this Planet 13-owned dispensary runs from 8 AM to midnight every day and has racked up over 1,300 reviews. The shop is known for its house-grown Medizin and Trendi flower lines, with Cap Junky among the strains that regulars actively seek out. Recent customer feedback has been mixed on pricing, with longtime patrons questioning shifts in promotional structure and recent multi-pack deals. That said, the staff and overall product quality continue to draw return visits. If you're shopping with a specific strain in mind or watching for promotional rotations, it pays to check current deals before heading over. Delivery service is available, though some customers have flagged inconsistent customer service responses on follow-up calls. The Sunset Rd location remains a recognizable stop in the chain of Planet 13 affiliates spread across Las Vegas.

Customer Reviews
I had a negative experience with from what I understand is a mgmt person. I’m a loyal long standing customer and the mgmt named XAVIER is extremely rude. He cut me off several times when I was asking a question about my delivery and then hung up. I called customer service 2x for planet 13 owned my MEDIZIN and no response at all. So disappointing. He’s rude and should not be in mgmt. I’m giving 2 stars for the product, store and other great customer service I’ve always received. He needs to go.
So, Medizin used to be an awesome dispensary. Had great deals and took care of med patients. Have not had Medizin flower on any good deals lately, 2 eights for $45 is not a good deal. $180 an oz when they sold their Medizin Strains for much less. They barely include a great strain that they grow, Cap Junky, in the specials. Seems like they are tight and now trying to get more revenue. They had Chloe and GG4 in the $99 and $79 specials. I purchased an ounce of GG4 and an ounce of Face on Fire - $200. Nov 26, got 2.5 ounces for $200 - Chloe - Ice Cream Cone - and Swamp gas. Noiv 21 ounce of Chloe for $99. Need another brand and strain comparable to Chloe as it is very helpful for me. Now it is just other brands flower for good deals. Not sure if they are good quality like the Medizin Grown Flower. This has been my primary medical dispensary for years now and this is very disapointing. The best thing they have going still is their reward program for medical paitients is the best in town.
I love Medizin—the shop, the strains, and the staff are amazing. That said, I think there’s a missed opportunity with your current pricing. The “2 for $50” deal on LR Medizin and Trendi products was better for both the business and customers than the “4 for $99” promotion. Here’s why: Better Profit: Even a $0.25/gram difference adds up—selling 1,000 grams/month could bring ~$250 more monthly, ~$3,000 yearly. More Foot Traffic: A $50 entry point is more accessible, bringing in more first-time customers and repeat visits. Upselling Potential: Lower initial spend encourages purchases of higher-margin items like edibles, drinks, and vapes. Customer Psychology: $50 feels easier to spend than $99 ($117+ after tax), encouraging broader product exploration. Word-of-Mouth: Accessible deals likely lead to recommendations, further increasing traffic. Overall, “2 for $50” could boost both revenue and customer satisfaction. Medizin is already great—this small tweak could make it even better.
Used to shop here multiple times a month for years. Moved away for 2 years and came back, still great products but budtender was visibly annoyed that I was asking questions about products. Consistently got “idk choose one”, or “idk haven’t tried it”. No help whatsoever. Renewed my med card and they weren’t able to input it for some reason but I was assured I’d get a “discount” that would cover the taxes. Once I did the math found out I was overcharged $20. Came back and the GM came did give me credit for the overcharge but not without reminding me it was my fault that they didn’t put my medical card in? If you’re a local, go to Planet 13. They are much friendlier and treat you as if they actually appreciate your business.
I’ve been smoking for quite some time, and I have to say — Memo really knows his stuff! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and took the time to answer all my questions without rushing me. His patience and energy made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I usually shop at a different dispensary, but after this visit, Medizin just earned a spot at the top of my list. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
