Ascend Cannabis Dispensary - Crofton

As a medical patient, I was pretty disappointed with my experience. I was in the middle of my transaction when the budtender began assisting a recreational customer instead—even though state law prioritizes medical patients. It’s frustrating to feel like we’re being treated as an afterthought. Another recreational customer was complaining about state taxes, and it felt like some of that frustration carried over into my interaction while my transaction was already on hold. When I expressed that I was annoyed about the delay, the cashier seemed to take issue with my reaction rather than addressing the situation. Customer service needs improvement!

On March 1st at approximately 1:00 PM, I entered the location to send an item. While opening the door, I encountered a male individual who appeared to be disabled. I did not escort him into the building. Following this interaction, the individual began verbally abusing and threatening me, making racist and discriminatory remarks, including racial slurs and statements such as “Trump rules,” “this belongs to white people,” and other derogatory comments. His conduct was hostile, offensive, and intimidating. Despite his behavior, the individual was still provided service by a white female employee with brown hair and glasses. After I reacted to the verbal abuse, I was instructed by the employee to leave the premises, rather than the individual who initiated the harassment.

Amazing energy stopped by in the morning and he put me in a great mood and even noticed my nails! He was quick and got my order right. Very amazing to make an impress in such a short encounter. You guys are lucky to have him!

1st time experience at this location and it is such an amazing place to go! Such a good selection of products and staff always willing to help you if needed. I usually go to green light but thought i’d change it up a bit. Christopher specifically was amazing. Answered all my questions and made some great recommendations. Christopher alone is the reason I will be coming back again and again. Hope to see him again! 10/10 experience

First time here and everyone was pleasant and attentive. Walked in and was essentially greeted by everyone who wasn’t actively helping another customer. Kourtney was super knowledgeable and gave me info and her honest opinions. She came from around the back to show me different accessories and it was overall just a cool experience. I am a sucker for good customer service so I’ll definitely be back.
