Alright so let’s start this review off with the fact that I am not a Cannabis shopper and did not purchase anything to give a review on the product itself…. So now you’re asking, why is she reviewing this business if she doesn’t shop here?! Good question 😏 one I will answer if you keep reading. In typical weekend fashion I did some poking around the shops and one of my favorite places to check out are the antique shops/flea markets. Now while roaming around one of the local favorite shops, I stumbled across a set of stairs that used to lead up to a second floor of the antique shop… this time there was a bunch of signage calling out “The Hideaway”. So being me… I explored! The door was locked but I could see people inside so I knocked and was quickly let in. The person on the other side greeted me with a smile and nicely asked for my ID. Puzzled on why I would need an ID to enter a store and even more intrigued at what was inside I handed over my ID. It was scanned and I was allowed in! SCORE! But wait… what did I gain entry to 🤔🤔🤔 you guessed it Oxfords first 21+ recreational use cannabis store! Now while it wasn’t something I was shopping for I had to check it out! The team was eager to help and answer any questions (good thing cause I know nothing about this hah). I learned that they’re from Maine! Veteran owned and eager to provide great customer service along with what I assume is a killer product as it was busy and many people were buying. They have daily specials!!! If you don’t see the signage JUST ASK!!! They’ll tell you all about them 🤗 Now of course being me I had to do more digging after I left… cause wait Rec stores are a thing now?! Hmmm well I did some price comparison and they by far beat out anyone I found! Now add in their specials and you’ve got amazing prices! I’m not done!!! They also offer Maine Artisans! That’s right! You can find art work and other crafty things from local Maine artists! And they intend to grow this side of the business as artisan show interest! While I wasn’t shopping for their product, I still have to give them 5 stars as they blew my mind with their customer service skills and community spirit! If you’re a cannabis shopper I HIGHLY recommend this store! Find it above your famous Oxford Antique store just before you hit the Oxford Walmart on your way to the mountains. Or just after you pass Walmart on your way back! Psst don’t forget to check out the accessories and other things they sell too! I may need that locking backpack in the future guys! So keep ‘em in stock!
