SWAY Cannabis Dispensary - Chicago Lakeview

They're one of the nicest dispos I have been to in the city. I felt comfortable from the minute I walked in. The products are fantastic and better priced than a lot of the others especially if you pay attention to the sales. It's a place where if I needed help it feels accessible AND they are very up front with information on terpenes unlike other places which is very helpful.

Great neighborhood dispensary with high quality products. While the prices might be slightly higher compared to larger dispensaries in Chicago, it’s better to buy at a place like this than large conglomerate businesses like Curaleaf (which is owned by a billionaire with some shady dealings 👀). Money spent at SWAY is supporting a local community business that is queer, black and latinx owned, rather than pocketing billionaires. Get on their email list to see the deals they have each week. It’s a nice place to shop and the staff are always helpful!

Hands down one of the best dispensaries I’ve been. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They spent time with me yesterday educating me on some of the new product that they were offering and also let me know that some of my favorites were back in stock.

Sway is hands down my favorite dispensary in Chicago. Not only are they minority and LGBTQ owned but my experience is consistently amazing. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable and the place is clean. Highly recommend.

What sets Sway apart in Lakeview is that it’s unapologetically FOR us and BY us. This is a truly affirming space for all humans—not just in theory, but in practice. You feel it in the air, in the welcome, in every detail. It’s retail, but it’s also a party, a community hub, and honestly, a vibe you won’t find anywhere else. The products? Excellent. I’m personally obsessed with their Froze gummies for Sunday brunch, which are the perfect way to ease into the week. But beyond the products, Sway is doing the work: hosting policymakers, educating about the plant, and holding space for conversations that honor Queer movements and history. That matters. Running a cannabis dispensary is incredibly challenging, the taxes, the regulations, the competition from sketchy operations claiming to sell the same stuff. But Sway keeps showing up, keeps building community, and keeps creating a space where everyone belongs. If you’re looking for a dispensary that’s more than just a transaction, that actually gives a damn about the community it serves, Sway is where you need to be.
