Cloud 9 is a clean store with friendly staff, and the overall shopping experience is pleasant and well organized. My concern relates to the store’s policy regarding medical cannabis patients. Because Cloud 9 is not an official medical dispensary, they cannot offer tax-free purchases for customers with a medical card. The store does offer a discount when a medical license is presented. However, the way the policy currently works means medical patients cannot combine the medical discount with advertised sale prices. Cloud 9 frequently advertises weekend sales, but medical patients must either pay the sale price and still pay full tax, or pay the full retail price (even when the item is on sale) in order to receive the medical discount. As a result, medical patients receive little practical benefit from presenting a medical card in these situations. This is especially noticeable because Cloud 9 carries a precisely dosed candy product that isn’t available at other dispensaries in central Illinois. One point that was not initially clear when the policy was explained is that the “medical discount” only applies to the full retail price. If an item is advertised at a lower sale price, medical patients must still pay the higher retail price in order to receive the discount. If I am misunderstanding the policy, I would certainly welcome clarification. Otherwise, I hope the company will consider adjusting this approach so that medical patients can both participate in advertised promotions and receive the intended benefit of their medical license.

Awesome that they open st 8am on Sunday morning. The staff qas so nice and cheery at this weekend hour as well. Angela was my budtender and she had a sincere smile a sweet vibes. Greta atmosphere all around!

I just have to say Andrew (Drew) is a positive and very polite person. Andrew is very knowledgeable and should get a raise and be in management. Definitely knows how to speak to customers and let me add, very funny person. You're awesome Drew and Thanks for the great experience 😀

i purchased a 2 gram disposable the other day from cloud 9 and same day i opened the disposable it did not work, i called an the manger told me what to do and to take a video of th product not working and bring it in with proof and they will refund me the process was smooth and painless they even let me choose a new brand of disposable and flavor just because i didn’t like the last brand anyway. it’s a friendly group of people who remember the familiar faces.
