Zen Leaf Cannabis Dispensary

Genuinely one of the worst dispensary experiences you can find anywhere, especially since this “new system” was implemented in early 2026. Have yet to spend less than 30 minutes in the store to buy one small product, even if you check in on the kiosk. All my friends who have been going here for a long time are no longer going here, citing similar horribly long wait times considering they rarely ever have enough staff present. The budtender today was mocking customers for “being in bad moods because they just need their weed so fast”, which is when I decided to leave. Wouldn’t share a review like this ever, but feel that folks should know that they are signing up for 20-30 minutes of waiting if you go in when it’s even remotely busy. Huge bummer, always enjoyed this place but will be going anywhere else moving forward.

1 cashier? No managerial help? No extra workers for the 5pm rush? Every time I come to this establishment it’s really slow service 15-20 min wait times just in line. They need to schedule more budtenders at appropriate times. To watch 4 different employees walk by this lonely cashier and not even offer to help should be frowned upon quite frankly. To add to it the cashier her name starts with a Z she was lovely she did her job well and tried her best this was by no means her fault

I did one star as it won’t let me leave a 0 0 stars!!!! 😠 I was actually quite surprised by the treatment that I received today. Being a medical patient for six years now and this was a terrible and shocking experience. Ya they were busy and if you’re in the customer service department then you need to have some sort of professional kindness and patience. He was so rude and told me I need to shop at only one dispensary for a faster check out. Never did I complain and he sure did I was waiting patiently and he comes out all aggravated that it took a min longer if that. I asked if any rules changed to be told I should shop at Only that dispensary for speedy checkout I don’t need speedy checkout I am medical and what I need is the correct meds at the best price. I usually get better discounts and products I prefer elsewhere and this is a few mins from my house. I will Never return to Naugatuck again as I already have anxiety disorder and don’t need to be nervous about how I will be treated as this was the worst experience by far 0 stars Recommend anyone who reads this take the ride to Waterbury they are not only kind they are funny and I always leave with a smile. Today I left shaking and upset and that’s avoidiable by hiring kind workers not mean ones who are rushing you out the door we should be welcomed and never pushes away

The Spanish lady wher name starts with a z I believe she is always so helpful she helped a gentleman in front of me gave him all the information he needed guided him through the buying process everything. I’ve been to a few Zen leafs and honestly, she is the star of Zen leaf like it’s usually an off day today or a slow day and there was quite a few people in there and she handled it like a boss. I don’t know if she is the boss but she should be the boss because that’s leadership right there she showed how to just put it on your shoulders and make it happen if she worked at any McDonald’s or Burger King they would never be backed up. I even tried to get higher there a few times over the band since you guys opened up she’s giving me all the information I’ve needed to contact her get in touch with whoever does a hiring. She’s just always been very informative. I don’t know how she’s just like not the general manager. She should be district manager, but then if she was district manager, she probably wouldn’t be in the store as much so it’s kind of like a win, win, lose lose, she deserves a promotion. She is amazing for every dollar that I spend, and then leave for the rest of my life will be because of her.

Have been down to Zen Leaf a few times in Naugatuck and it has been a great experience. First, upon arrival there is plenty of easy parking. The building has nice curb appeal too. Once inside the security greets you with a friendly smile and checks you in. Quick and easy. Once inside it is clean neat and attractive. There are some accessories to peruse while in line... though the line moves quick. I order online and pick up and the staff is always quick and friendly. They happily answer any questions you might have. The products they carry have been excellent thus far. Pricing could be better but I think that is more a state thing (MA is much cheaper) and the sales Zen Leaf has certainly helps with that. All in all it has been a great experience with a very courteous and professional staff. HIGHly reccommend!
