Higher Collective - Hamden

I'm pretty new to the scene around here and was on the hunt for a solid dispensary. Gave Higher Collective a shot for the first time today, but man, it'll definitely be my last. Straight up, I would not recommend this spot to anyone, save yourself the hassle. Placed my order online, got the confirmation, and even a heads-up that it was ready for pickup. Cool, right? Drove over there after work, only to be told the item was priced incorrectly on their site. They hit me with, "Do you still want it? We can't honor the online price." When I asked why they didn't cancel the order or shoot me a quick call/text about the mix up, the counter staff just shrugged and said they're understaffed. Thing is, they had a solid 5 hours to sort it out before I showed up. Total bummer, and what a waste of time hauling over there for nothing. If you're looking for a reliable place, I'd steer clear of Higher Collective.

Lina and Kitty are hands down the BEST part of this dispensary. Every single time I come in, they make the experience feel welcoming, fun, and completely stress-free. They’re both incredibly knowledgeable and actually take the time to listen to what you’re looking for instead of just rushing you through a sale. Lina is amazing at breaking things down and helping you find exactly what fits your vibe, whether you’re looking to relax, get creative, or just unwind after a long day. And Kitty? An absolute sweetheart. She brings the best energy, makes you feel comfortable instantly, and somehow always recommends the perfect product.

Out of all the dispensaries in CT, higher collective is by far the better ones. Good flower, well packed pre rolls unlike other places. Quality is good, just gotta know the brands. Staff is friendly and quick!

I originally came in to pick up an order for Uber and I was curious about it. The person that greeted me that day ended up, convincing me to join, especially the fact that there’s a discount for healthcare workers, which was a first for me. I love the atmosphere, the clerk who helped me inside, gave me the cutest stickers, and I will definitely be continuing to come here !

I LOVE this shop. The staff is filled with the greatest bud tenders I’ve found!! Feel free to ask all your questions. Their knowledge of the vast array of products is incredible. The sign board with today’s specials allows you to look over the offerings while you wait.
