Wow. Throughly impressed with the customer service here. I wish that I got my sales associates name because they were so helpful with their honest reviews of the products that I was looking for. I was about to give this place 5 stars because they were offering a freebie for a review. Now I see why they give away free stuff though, because their service is absolutely horrible. This used to be golden meds, and the team under that logo didn't need gimmicks to get great reviews. They always treated their customers with respect. I walked in and was trying to do the review at the window because there was no one else in there. The layout for google reviews changed after an update recently and I didn't see where the button was to leave a review, so it was taking me a minute to do it. A blonde lady came up to the front, grabbed my id while I was looking, and I told her I was trying to do a review to get the freebie, and she said "just come on back and we'll take care of you." A shorter brunette lady was my bud tender (she had a mask and cat ears on), grabbed my ID, and I told her I was trying to do the Google review for the freebie, but she interrupted me and asked me what I was in for. I answered her as I continued to do my review, and I was tired so I was having trouble remembering what I wanted. I was asking her if she had elderberry wylds as I was still trying to figure out the review. I also had my screen visible so I wasnt hiding what I was doing. I asked her if she had cannapunch, and she told me 3 flavors she had. I was hoping for blue raspberry, but they didn't have it, so I initially said pineapple mango, but remembered as she was grabbing it, that gave me acid reflux last time, so I said "wait, strawberry melon." She said in a rude voice "you can't be buying for others, and i've told you multiple times to put your phone away, and it even says it on the door." She never told me to put my phone away once. I told her that I had already expressed that Im trying to do the Google review for the freebies, and that I said this at the front as well. She says "well you need to tell me you're doing that because you're not allowed back here with your phone." I reminded her that I did tell her, but dropped it and proceeded to get cash out of the atm. I paid her, and she gave me a bag and presented it with a snarky attitude. Despite this, I still tipped her because I still have a heart. I was going to golden meds for YEARS and never got attitude like this. My disabled girlfriend has been going there as well and always felt welcomed. Elite cannabis does not have good customer service, and they have completely lost our business. I will make sure my friends do not shop here as well. If you want to feel appreciated, get great deals, and be treated well, there is an amazing shop owned by the nicest guy ever off of Tamarac and Hampden. It's called "Jungle Feva," and they will always treat you right. At all costs, do not give this soulless conglomerate your money. Thank you!
