Alternative Medicine on Capitol Hill (AMCH) Dispensary
About Alternative Medicine on Capitol Hill (AMCH) Dispensary
Tucked into Cheesman Park at North Marion Street, Alternative Medicine on Capitol Hill, known as AMCH, has built one of the most loyal customer bases in Denver. 4.7 stars across 436 reviews, with regulars describing the staff as family after years of visits. The shop earns specific praise for actually letting younger medical card holders in, including 18-year-olds with valid documentation, which not every Colorado dispensary handles smoothly. Deal mentions like 2 grams for $40 on Leiffa product come up in reviews. Online ordering with no charge until pickup is another regular-friendly touch. Hours are 10 AM to 8 PM every day, which is a tighter window than late-night Denver dispensaries, so plan accordingly. The Cheesman Park location puts the shop in one of Denver's most walkable, leafy neighborhoods. For locals, this reads as a city-wide top pick rather than just a Capitol Hill option. That's a strong endorsement from people who have options.
- Welcoming to younger med card holders

So I have been in Denver since 2012 September. I have been to many dispensaries in aurora , denver , boulder, golden, etc. Ive seen my fair share of good bud tenders and friendly staff. All I have to say to that is these people at alternative medicine, have absolutely made me feel like family since I started coming there a year ago. Many times have I walked in there in a terrible mood and left in a much better mood. They show great love and hospitality and deserve business. As their product is insane as well. If you're looking for good stuff, they got your back, if you're looking for a deal, they got some pretty great stuff for that as well. Definitely check it out, it's worth the trip. Much love stoners. Stay high.
Great shop, friendly staff, and awesome selection! Meriah took great care of us and gave excellent product and food recommendations. We’re visiting from Hawaii and will definitely stop by again .
My favorite. Been a regular for years. Staff is very friendly and generous. Always laughing and sharing funny stories. Not to mention the benefits of being a regular. Random discounts and free items. They will make your day.
This is my pick, city wide. Thankfully it is also my neighborhood weed store. The staff there are terrific. I don’t know much about what information they have about weed, because I’m a quick in and out customer. If you are too, you can order online, no charge until pick up. If you love good weed, this is the best choice. The best and the price and the weed tenders.
5 stars for a good reason!! I’m 18 with a med card and its pretty difficult finding good dispensaries that will actually let me in. I came in yesterday and was welcomed with alot of respect and good vibes, i had came in for the 2G for 40 Leiffa deal and it didn’t disappoint! Its such a great little shop with great budtenders
