The Artist Tree Dispensary West Hollywood

Went to this shop yesterday and they do have lots of options. Yes. A bit pricey. But their products, the ones I shopped for anyway, are all within a month or a couple of days over a month. FRESH FRESH which is awesome to see. The one star is becauese it looks like they are double charging tax on their receipts. The excise tax is included in each product price at this shop. They don’t tell you that. It doesn’t specify the amount for each excise tax calculated for each product. The manager stated the excise tax is included in the price and that the excise tax at the bottom right before the total is just a calculation for the excise taxes added above to each product price. But this makes it seem like you are taxing the excise tax to the product on top and then taxing again at the bottom of the receipt. Manager says the calculation at the bottom is the total of all excise tax that are in the prices above. It’s just a calculation not an extra tax. Example: two drinks at $11.25 should be $22.50 before all taxes at the bottom right? Well the total was $25.50 at the top because excise tax was included in price. Then at the bottom there is another excise tax. How would I know excise tax is in the price if I don’t ask? And how do I know the excise tax added to each product on top of the receipt is the same calculation of the excise tax added again at the bottom? Manager assured me no double taxing but I don’t know. Just put all taxes at the bottom. Don’t add taxes to the price then list taxes at the bottom this looks like we are being double taxed extra because they don’t tell the customer the excise tax is included in the price.

Great amazing place! Love it here so chill, good vibes, and classy. Jacob was real inviting and really helpful over the phone too before I arrived helped explain parking in the back for customers. Staff upon arrival were really kind and helped me incredibly. Can’t wait to come back!

Update- super weird and potentially illegal to review footage?? Also most responses are like hey we'll do better next time. This sounds toxic and supports what i was saying. Ok so every time ive come here the budtenders are visibly miserable. And i dont blame them! Theyre supposedly the medmen of cannabis in that theyre all about the money and give zero hoots about their workers. So, artist tree, do right by your staff

The best thing about this spot is that you can take advantage of different offers up to 50% DAILY! Each day they have different brands included in the sale. For me, I don't mind trying new brands and new items so its actually a cool like test feature almost for me.

Loved the experience, It was my first time here, you must try both things the dispensary and the lounge, but for sure you will get a great surprise at the lounge, good vibes and very kind person who attends to you. Gracias:)
