I honestly wish I could give more than five stars. This place is amazing. The selection is huge, the prices are hard to beat, and the store is always clean and comfortable. What truly stands out is the staff. Everyone is welcoming, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. My grandma is dealing with a rare and aggressive cancer, and the recommendations they’ve made have helped her so much. They treat us with real warmth every time we come in. On our last visit, she had just finished treatment and didn’t feel up to getting out of the car, and they actually came outside to say hello and check on her. That meant more than I can put into words. Great products and fair prices are important, but the compassion and care here are exceptional. I won’t go anywhere else.
I honestly will never be back to this place. I drip almost 2 to 3 hundred dollars every time I come in and it's crazy how difficult it is to just shop around. God forbid you ask to see or ask to look at any products there. The staff is entitled and lazy. Not to mention their inability to follow simple tasks like left or right. This entire store needs to be cleaned out and restocked with entirely new people. Keeping the same depressing Eeyore mentality around isn't helping. The audacity this store has that they can treat people the way they do is completely appalling.
I'm a long-time fan of Foothill. I tell ya what. Used chucks for convenience (huge mistake) due to my location and errands. Recently walked in for the first time in years, and I gotta say..... Wow, what a refreshing, comforting experience. The place hasn't missed a beat on vibes and friendly welcoming. My first time back, I met an associate who used to service me, and we chatted about family, kids, and whatnot. Was like a breath of fresh air. Today, I went back and met a new associate. He was so chill and understood my simple "demands" 😅 and lined me up with a solid selection. Best place in Eldorado County. 10 out of 10. Glad I'm back. It's like home.
