The Green Door
About The Green Door
On Howard St in San Francisco's Yerba Buena neighborhood, The Green Door pulls in 635 reviews and a 4.5-star average. The shop is centrally located near Moscone Center, which puts it on the route for both locals and visitors — one reviewer mentioned popping in during Super Bowl weekend. Inside, the layout reads modern and well-organized, with expansive displays that let customers actually see what they're buying rather than guessing from a menu. Budtenders like Joe earn specific praise for sorting out tricky in-the-moment needs. Product selection covers flower, edibles, and everything in between, with reviewers calling quality top-notch. Hours run 9 AM to 9 PM every day. Pricing lands as reasonable for downtown San Francisco. The Green Door is older than many SF dispensaries and has the reputation to back it — staff knowledge runs deep, and the shop feels confident rather than gimmicky. A solid pick for downtown shoppers or anyone visiting the convention district.

Customer Reviews
Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, plus great selections very reasonable pricing. Which is why I love this spot. If staff is rude, no matter selections, I would never spend a dime of my hard earned money. And this includes any dispensary, stores, restaurants etc.
This place is great flew in from Az last month they had some fire sour diesel. Must ch3ck out .I definitely will be back .remodeled very nice ! Great job guys see you soon that dejavu tho! 🔥
We were in town for the Superbowl and saw this dispensary was nearby. On a whim, we stopped in and had one of the better shopping experiences in the weed industry. Great looking shop with expansive displays to actually check out what you are buying. Joe made it really easy to find what I needed in the moment and hooked it up for us. It was such a good experience that after we went to the fan expo next door, we came back (like 3hrs later) to stock up for the rest of the weekend! Highly recommend on all levels.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Zero stars if I could. The products are shitty, as well as extremely overpriced. But unfortunately, that is not the worst part. Not only is everyone working here is completely incompetent and can't do their job, but they are extremely rude about it when they mess up and refuse to even attempt at making things right.
This dispensary has such great vibes from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, with a clean and sleek interior that makes the whole experience feel elevated. The layout is modern and well-organized, which makes browsing super easy. Their product selection is top-notch—everything from flower to edibles is high quality and well-curated. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help with recommendations. Definitely one of my favorite spots to shop. Highly recommend checking it out!
