Arts District Cannabis
About Arts District Cannabis
Down on S Alameda St in Downtown Los Angeles, Arts District Cannabis serves the DTLA crowd with a 4.5-star rating from 237 reviews. The headline draw is in-house grown flower — reviewers specifically call out the Tahoe Wedding Cake and Jack Herer as worth a trip. Fresh nugs, big flavor, and prices that lean reasonable for the neighborhood. Doors open at 7 AM and stay open until 10 PM every day, which is generous for downtown. Staff get steady praise for friendliness and clean store presentation. The recurring complaint in reviews is POS system outages — frustrating when you're trying to pay and the system goes down, so consider bringing cash as a backup. Beyond that hiccup, the shop holds up as a legitimate stop for DTLA residents or anyone wandering through the Arts District. Recreational adult-use customers welcome with valid ID showing you're 21 or older.

Customer Reviews
Typically, I would leave a one-star review due to poor service, cleanliness issues, or rude staff — but that’s not the case here. The store is clean, and the staff are always super nice and friendly. What frustrates me, however, is the constant outage issues with the POS system. It’s incredibly inconvenient when you’re trying to shop and find out the system is down or that it’s cash-only. Yesterday, I went in unaware that they were only accepting cash, which was very frustrating. Even when the POS system is working, I can’t use tap-to-pay and have to bring my physical card. In today’s world, that feels outdated and inconvenient. I’ve even had to drive farther to another location that reliably accepts cards and tap payments without issues. This store has a lot of potential, but until the payment system becomes more reliable and tap-friendly, I won’t be returning. Convenience matters, and unfortunately, this location isn’t meeting that expectation right now.
Art district cannabis in DTLA is phenomenal! Great shop these guys uphold the standard on what a California shop should look like, The Tahoe wedding cake and jack herer grown at this shop is just lovely. Great staff great options on product and also very helpful staff.
First time customer. I was amazed like a little kid 😂. So much to see and learn. Love the staff. Go and check our ADC, you won't be let down.
Clarisse and Gala really looked out for me this morning! They’re awesome! Come check them out! Got Annunaki and Gorilla Glue #4!
I’ve seen their flower in other dispensary, but had no idea that this was their flagship store. I decided to stop in one day after driving by hundreds of times. This place has a great selection of different brands and great prices. I would say the star is their house flower. It’s super fresh, flavorful, and the nugs are huge. I wasn’t a huge fan of the infused pre-rolls, maybe I just got a bad batch, but I’ll definitely be back to try more.
