About Calm and Collective

Eastside Long Beach's Calm and Collective at 2515 E Anaheim St runs a 4.6 average across 85 reviews, with consistent 9 AM to 9:45 PM hours every day. The smaller review count means less data than the bigger Long Beach cannabis stores, but the feedback that exists trends positive on staff friendliness and customer recognition. Regulars specifically mention that budtenders like Jess remember their preferences without checking notes — small thing, big difference for daily shoppers. The shop maintains a polite, no-rude-staff reputation across reviewers, which sounds basic but isn't universal in this category. Worth knowing: some customers have raised concerns about the structure of promotional deals versus straight pricing, so if you're not a deal-stacker, ask about the simplest path to your order total. For Eastside Long Beach locals looking for a low-key cannabis store in Long Beach where staff actually remember you, Calm and Collective fits that bill. Quieter pace than the busier downtown spots.

Customers mention:
  • Staff remember regulars
  • Consistently kind service
  • Quieter Eastside pace
  • Open every day

I was out of town visiting and needed to find a place to purchase great customer service

Cool and friendly staff. Love it here

They get mad when you don't take the bogus "deals" they're offering, they'll then upcharge you...but what happened to "for our loyal customers" .. Just make the items a set price, simple 👎

Number one reason for coming back to this dispensary was because everybody in there is kind there hasn’t been one person in there who has been rude. Secondly, every time I go in there, they already know what I want. They get familiar with their customers, which I love that. Jess ALWAYS knows what I want without even checking which is great. Lastly One time my husband went in there and they saw that it was a hot day outside, and they offered him something to drink. Kindness goes a long way because now they have a forever customer

Yesterday I went to make a purchase only to get there and they were closed. They closed earlier than regular because business hours with no warning to customers. I arrived four minutes after. I go back the next day to see if I can be accommodated and was dismissed as if she did not care and a sarcastic careless response in regards to what happened. Sad to say I will no longer be patronizing your business. I’ve worked in the service industry most of my life and one thing I always try to do is appease the customer especially when they were unaware of business changes or inconvenienced in any way.
