Nirvana Cannabis - 7th St (Downtown Phoenix)
About Nirvana Cannabis - 7th St (Downtown Phoenix)
Despite the name, this Nirvana Cannabis location is actually on East Buckeye Road in Phoenix's Central City — close to downtown but not directly on 7th Street. The dispensary carries a 4.8-star rating across 3,531 Google reviews, putting it among the better-reviewed cannabis shops in central Phoenix. Reviewers consistently call out staff who actually listen instead of upselling, with budtenders like Susan getting repeat shoutouts for warmth and patience. Hours run 8 AM to 10 PM every day, useful for early-morning pickups or late evening stops. The shop offers online ordering, which a few reviewers note isn't always smooth — that's worth knowing if you're trying to pre-order. A small share of recent feedback flags inconsistencies in service quality, but the overwhelming majority of reviews skew strongly positive. For a Central City Phoenix dispensary serving both first-timers and regulars, Nirvana Cannabis delivers a friendly, no-rush experience.

Customer Reviews
Susan was an AWESOME employee. I don't really get out of the house much. But I'm glad I did today. She is the nicest person I've experienced in a long time. My wife thinks Susan is pretty AWESOME as well. Thanks Susan and thank you Nirvana for employing such a wonderful lady.
Awesomeeeee team, love the early morning deals and always got somwthing new and good going on l. LOVE ITTTTT. Just the parking could be better but understandable because it's downtown phx. But still gonna come 🩷
I’ve been coming here regularly for the last couple of years or so. Unfortunately in the last two months, the quality of service has taken a turn for the worst. It’s tough to trust the validity of their reviews when they offer free product for a 5 star review. I almost exclusively use the online ordering system, as it is supposed to be a convenient way to get product. I have found my experiences to become increasingly frustrating. To begin, they allow for “online payment” , this has not worked the last few times I’ve tried to use it. The portal is either down when I get to the counter, or they cannot process the payment despite the transaction showing in my bank card. Unfortunately, I had to dispute the charges with my bank. The credit card system at the store also is a failing system. It is frequently down, I wouldn’t be surprised if this were by design to encourage customers to use their in house ATMs. These, of course, charge $3.50 per withdrawal. To reiterate, I always use the online ordering system. There are separate line once you get inside, one for “online orders”, and one for “walk in”. Multiple times, the “walk in line” has progressed at a rate much quicker than the “online order “ line. My second to last visit, they spent nearly 13 minutes on one “online order” customer. This is ridiculous and unacceptable. Patrons should not have the ability to change their orders once placed. These individuals should be encouraged to use the “walk in “ line. It becomes saddening when 10 or more “walk in“ customers are served in the time it takes for the “online order” line to move 2 people. In theory, the “online orders” should be a simple grab and go situation, not a multiple minute conversation about if the patron wants to change their orders. Something as simple as a shift change should lead to a 20 minute backup of orders either, an excuse I’ve been given for unprompted service before. Lastly, they are constantly changing they way the reward system works. It makes understanding the point system and how it works difficult and somewhat unusable. I enjoy the product and price that Nirvana has to offer, but there must be some changes made to improve service. It’s becoming tiring to deal with. at this point, it might be worth the price hike to get better service.
Amazing experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. They actually listened to what I was looking for and made great recommendations without rushing me. You can tell they care about their customers. Highly recommend this dispensary!
*Update: went back! So pictures added* I usually post pictures in my reviews. Big but because of circumstances I was unable to. Inside is very nice and clean. Bright. Staff is awesome. Good prices and deals! But I want to give a HUGE shout out and THANK YOU to the staff!!! We had a small medical situation. And Alec, Edgar, Jeff and Caitlin did not hesitate and or ask any questions. Before I knew it the three gentlemen had already came out from behind the counter to help us out. Everyone stayed cool calm and collective. If it wasn't for their assistance I would have really had my hands full. Thank u sooooooo much! 🖤🙏🏽 We will definitely be back. (I will try to come back and update with some pictures of the product!) 🖤🙏🏽🖤🙏🏽🖤🙏🏽
